I’m glad you are reaching out for support.

I meet clients where they are with acceptance, appreciation, and curiosity. One goal as a therapist is to guide individuals and families in activating and strengthening the parts of their nervous system that transform how they relate to these experiences, whether they stem from earlier trauma, current personal circumstances, or the pain present in the world around us.

Uprooting patterns and stories that no longer serve you, allows you to deliberately create new stories and patterns to realize your goals and your fuller potential. These processes create room to breath, unwind, and see yourself in a new light. You may experience a new sense of confidence, compassion, creativity, and focus. This in turn opens space for a deeper connection with one’s true self, within relationships, with nature, or with the divine -however you define this, all of which are the foundation for well-being and resilience.

When working with youth, I often see the most positive change through a combination of family therapy, individual therapy, and working with parents (or caregivers) healing their own histories and learning therapeutic strategies. With most youth under 8 years, I predominantly offer family therapy.

Sarah was able to help re-establish the deep-bond my daughter and I shared by integrating new tools for our toolbox! Once again, communication is open, I am recognized as a safe-place, and we have shared many laughs! These lasting skills Sarah has taught us have brought my child back from being fearful and resistant. Sarah is so patient, flexible, and understanding of both child and parent experiences as well as perspectives! It was an unexpected surprise to be able to partake in my child’s growth through therapy with Sarah; I was able to keep up with my child and these new tools and help her better, with understanding. I couldn’t be more appreciative.”   – Mother of 7 year old
